Material Research From The Beginning

Since 2012, LUCKYNELLY has explored animal-free alternatives to leather — long before vegan luxury materials became part of the global fashion conversation. What began with cork, wood veneer and unconventional surfaces evolved into an ongoing search for bio-based, waste-based and next-generation materials for high-end accessories.

Cork

One of the earliest animal-free materials explored by LUCKYNELLY — plant-based, tactile and naturally distinctive. Cork became part of the brand's first material archive at a time when refined alternatives to animal leather were still rare.

Wood Veneer

Flexible wood veneer and sewable wood surfaces became part of LUCKYNELLY's early exploration of unusual animal-free materials. Zebrawood was used for an award-winning vegan design and remains part of the brand's material history.
